Tour Operator Programme
2010 FIFA World Cup™ Tour Operator
PLEASE BE ADVISED: 2010 FIFA World Cup Ticketing Pty Limited is no longer reviewing PTO applications for the following territories, for which a significant number of PTOs have already been appointed:
Australia

Germany (Deutschland)

South Africa

United Kingdom
Brazil

The registration process for the TOP commenced in November 2007. At that time, tour operators across the world were encouraged to indicate their interest in the TOP so they could apply as soon as possible once the formal application process commenced. Tour operators were encouraged to register, and apply early, in order to have the best possible chance of being selected for the programme. The formal application process for the TOP commenced on July 15, 2008. FIFA has already allocated available tickets and approved a number of Participating Tour Operators (PTOs) for the markets identified above. At present, they do not intend to appoint any additional Participating Tour Operators for these markets. If that situation changes, we will notify tour operators who have registered their interest. The PTO appointment and ticket allocation decisions take into account the concept that tickets should be distributed to tour operators throughout the world so that consumers throughout the world can have access to ticket packages originating from their respective countries, and TOP ticket allocations don’t concentrate in particular territories to the detriment of consumers in other parts of the world. Opportunities are still available for tour operators who are duly qualified and provide packages for consumers in other territories. Tour operators in those other markets are encouraged to apply for the TOP.
